The following is a list of things that can help you tune your Vee's suspension. Most people try to achieve a Neutral handling car, with equal front and rear traction. Slight Understeer, however, where the car tends to plow straight ahead (or push) in a corner, is the safest way to set up your Vee. Some people contend that if you're a good enough driver a car with the suspension set to a slight Oversteer, where the tail of the car is loose and tends to slide outward in a turn, can be fastest. Remember to make small adjustments, keep records for repeatability, and when in doubt consult your local suspension expert.
| Adjustments | To Increase Understeer | To Increase Oversteer |
| Front Tire Pressure | Lower | Higher |
| Rear Tire Pressure | Higher | Lower |
| Front Wheel Camber | More Positive | More Negative |
| Rear Wheel Camber | More Negative | More Positive |
| Rear Springs | Softer | Stiffer |
| Front Anti-Sway Bar | Thicker (Stiffer) | Thinner (Softer) |
| Weight Distribution | More Forward | More Rearward |
